GETTING READY PHOTOS
Preparing for your big day with your closest friends and family is an exciting part of your wedding. It’s where all those decisions, big and small you made along the way all come together. The dress, the shoes and which earrings to wear. Your suit, that new watch and those freshly polished shoes.
We want to make sure your time with us is spent the best way possible, so here are some things to consider in the lead up to our arrival and the order in which things generally go.
GROOMS PREPARATION
If you and your groomsmen can be ready to don their suits shortly after we arrive, that will ensure we make most of our time with you, capturing what matters most. Everyone showered with suit pants and shirts already on is ideal.
The order of things…
Set-up photos of your outfit - your jacket, shoes, watch, cufflinks, cologne, tie/bow tie and the rings. Please gather these together before our arrival.
Candid photos your groomsmen putting on ties/bowties, cufflinks, jackets, and watches.
Portraits of you all ready, you and the boys, and you with any family members.
***Wearing bow ties that need tying? If you are not already versed in tying them, we strongly encourage you to master the art beforehand. There are lots of great bow tying tutorials out there.
BRIDES PREPARATION
Because you will have begun hair and make-up hours before our arrival, you will no doubt be all organized

NOTES FOR BOTH BRIDE AND GROOM
With yourself, your bridal party and other family members all getting ready in the same place, naturally there is going to be stuff everywhere! We just need one area or room reserved for photos. A bed room or living room with a large curtained window is ideal. The rest of the hotel room or house can be as messy as it needs to be, as long as there’s a spot set aside for photos, we’re good to go.
Of course, this is just a guide and there are no ‘right’ ways to do things. If the guys would prefer to be completely dressed and ready before our arrival, that’s totally fine! If you’re watch, for example, isn’t necessarily photogenic on it’s own or you’re not likely to look at a photo of your shoes in future, simply let us know and we will spend our time capturing those moments that are more valuable to you.
